Jacqueline Kreutzer, MD, FAAC, FSCAI, Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Cardiology, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Division Chief, Pediatric Cardiology, Co-Director, Heart Institute and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. A native of Argentina, Dr. Kreutzer came to Pittsburgh from The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Intervention. In addition to her clinical duties as leader of interventional cardiology at the Heart Center, she has a strong academic and teaching record. She has authored more than 60 scientific publications, and has served as guest reviewer for several journals, including Catheterization and Cardiovascular Intervention, Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, American Journal of Cardiology, Annals of Thoracic Surgery, Journal of the American College of Cardiology and others. She has taught extensively internally, nationally and internationally. She has served as active member of multiple societies, committees and boards, such as the American Board of Pediatrics, Subboard of Pediatric Cardiology, the American College of Cardiology NCDR IMPACT Registry, the American Heart Association CDVY Committee on Congenital Cardiac Defects, and others. She is board certified in Pediatric Cardiology and in Adult Congenital Heart Disease. Her research interests include novel catheter/device use for cardiac catheterization and transcatheter intervention.
